Students gather in our bright and beautifully lit art room to receive step-by-step instruction on unique projects. Whether they are making gifts for their parents, painting Easter eggs, or decorating gingerbread cookies for the holidays, students are given the freedom to use their imagination to create one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork.
From theatre to dance to joining an A/V crew, opportunities abound for students in our summer camps. During summer camp at the Louisa Arts Center, children learn all about the arts and have a blast doing it. At the end of each session, children even get to perform on stage to show off all their hard work!
The Mobile Arts Outreach Program will work together with Louisa County Public Schools to bring free art programming and free meals to under-served youth in our community this summer! Click the bus icon above to learn more!

Scholarships are made available by the generous support of the LaVahn & Mary Frances Hoh Scholarship Fund. This fund ensures each and every child has the opportunity to attend any of our youth programs and events with their friends.
Click the link above to open the scholarship application form. The form can be completed on the computer and sent via email to executive director Karen Welch (email@example.com) with the subject line: “Scholarship Application” or printed out and mailed or brought in to the center during box office hours.
Between our annual youth theatre production in December and our theatre classes and camps throughout the rest of the year, there is always a place for our community’s young thespians at the Louisa Arts Center.
Our dance programs and classes are open to movers of all levels. Students at the Louisa Arts Center get the opportunity to learn a variety of dance styles, including jazz, ballet, and tap. Students will enjoy learning a variety of dance techniques, steps, and combinations and performing with their friends.
