Camp Whatnot & Whimsey Director – Steve Smith

Morning Session ~ Grades 3-8 (9:00am – 1:00pm)

Taught by 5-time Emmy Award winner, Clown Hall of Fame inductee and Dean of the Ringling Clown College, Camp Director Steve Smith, takes participants on a magical journey using performance art, physical comedy and clowning. As human cartoons, Campers will learn 3 basic slapstick routines, sketch comedy; comic vignettes and pantomime plays. Campers will also delve into the utterly preposterous skill & technique of spit takes, pie throwing and slipping on banana peels. Get ready for an entertaing, hilarious, and educational week Campers won’t want to miss!

Registration for camp is completed in 2 steps:

  1. Pay for camp by following the correct link below,  mailing a check with your completed registration packet, or visiting the Box Office (Hours: T – F ; 12:00pm – 4:00pm)
  2. Fill out and return the 2019 Registration Packet by July 12, 2019.
