Under the guidance of our dynamic  Theater Manager, Eleanor Perkinson, our aim is to bring the magic of live theater to the heart of Louisa County and beyond.  With a fresh perspective and a commitment to excellence, we can’t wait to share the stage with you and create lasting memories together.  Get ready to experience the magic of theater like never before!

Louisa Players Live! presents ...

✨✨AUDITION ANNOUCEMENT!✨✨

Your chance to be a star has arrived!!
Our Fall musical, Matilda, includes roles for both youth & adults!

Audition Dates:
Select one audition to attend:
July 28th & 29th: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
(If unavailable, message us for other arrangements!)

Callbacks:
August 2nd: Times differ based on age groups

Prepare:
1. 30 second to 1 minute monologue
2. Sing 1 minute of a song (32 bars) – you can sing A Capella or bring an instrumental version of the music to play over a Bluetooth device

Casting:
10 Adults – Any Gender
10 Teen-Presenting Youth – Any Gender
10 Elementary-Presenting Youth – Any Gender

Rehearsals:
Mondays – Thursdays: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Alternating Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Rehearsals begin the week of August 11
Holidays will be time off

3 Performances:
November 7 – Evening
November 8 – Evening
November 9 – Matinee

AUDITION INFORMATION

Sunday, March 23 from 2pm to 4pm
or 
Monday, March 24 from 6pm to 9pm

 

*Prepare a 30 second to 1 minute monologue

*Sing 1 minute of a song (32-bar) – you can sing A Capella or bring an instrumental version to play over a Bluetooth device

 

*Callbacks- Saturday, March 29 from 10am-12pm
 
Note:  Cast and Crew will be paid a TBD stipend.
 
 Please complete the audition form below & bring to the audition.  You should be able to save the form and print from your computer.
Forms will be available at the audition as well if you are unable to complete in advance.
