Capital Campaign:
We met the Perry Foundation Challenge!

After three years of fund raising to restore a portion of the Louisa High School and Grade School, and its transformation to the Louisa Arts Center, the end is in sight. In October 2006, the Perry Foundation offered a challenge grant of $150,000 if the arts center Board of Directors could raise an additional $150,000.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we successfully met the challenge bringing us over $300,000 closer to our goal. In the past six months, individual, small business and other contributions rose 38 percent. We have approximately $500,000 needed to complete the theater, add furnishings and landscaping. Please consider making a tax deductible contribution in the enclosed envelope. Bricks and seats are still available for naming, honoring or remembering a loved one. Bricks - $150. Seats - $500.

Thank you Corporate Citizens! Corporate donors with Supporting gifts and pledges starting at $10,000 will be recognized by being named in the Corporate Meeting Room/Town Council Chambers in perpetuity. For Leadership gifts and pledges of $20,000 or more, the company name and logo will be prominently placed in the room. The opportunity for corporate sponsorship continues to be available and will be a key to completion of the capital campaign. Please visit our corporate donor page.
