Louisa Arts Center Auditions
“The Princess and the Pea”

The Louisa Arts Center launched a successful Youth Theatre program in the winter of 2014.  The past two productions of Ramona Quimby and James and the Giant Peach were very successful.

Auditions for youth for this year’s production of "The Princess and the Pea” are Tuesday,  December 15  from 4:30 – 7:30p.m.  at the Louisa Arts Center, 212 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa, Virginia.

THE STORY – This sweeping tale takes place in 1860’s Russia, where czars were required to marry women of royal blood.  Prince Alexi tries in vain to choose from several young empresses.  He encounters Anya, a peasant of the streets, who rocks his world and changes his life. 

Princess and the Pea will be directed by Mrs. Eleanor Drew Perkinson and produced by Mr. Michael Bollinger.

CASTING – Girls and Boys – Ages 6 – 18.

TECHNICIANS – Opportunities also abound for youngsters to make the show happen backstage.

PERFORMANCE DATES – March 11, 12  and 13, 2015.
